Desiging Mentor

Raunak Garhyan is a high school student at Henry M. Gunn High School in Palo Alto who is passionate about improving the lives of young people through education, creativity, and innovation. Through multiple digital design workshops, curriculum design and development, teacher training programs, and district-level design competitions, Raunak works to make creative, technology-driven learning more accessible, engaging, and impactful for students and educators alike. He also works as a digital design and branding intern at  Parallax Worlds, a San Francisco–based technology company, where he further develops his interests in design, communication, and innovation.  

Deeply interested in the role of technology and artificial intelligence in shaping education and youth development, Raunak also conducts research exploring the impact of AI on youth, with a strong interest in statistics and data-driven analysis to better understand learning, behavior, and well-being. He hopes to inspire curiosity, critical thinking, creativity, and confidence in the next generation. Raunak’s work and artistic achievements have earned national and international recognition, including national Gold and Silver honors in the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards and in the IAMA International Youth Art Contest.
